‘Most Muslims are good, but they are silent.’
How often have we heard that phrase in Western news media? I don’t know about you, but I’ve sure heard it way, way too many times. So, what gives? I mean, I hate terrorism, you (hopefully) hate terrorism. And we aren’t afraid to broadcast that.
Then why do we still fall victim to this large generalisation? I may not have the answer to that. But what I do have the answer to, is whether we actually are silent or not.
