The Girl in Yellow Scarf

She sips from the cup of hot tea (her all-time favorite one), while wandering around with that look of intense enthusiasm on her not-so-tensed-for-once face. She felt relieved. Finally, she owes nothing to the world but herself. She’s been longing for the time the she’s always wanted to spend with no one but her own self. It’s been ages, after all.

Doesn’t she love the breezy winds in the cold mornings? That inspires her even more. Bright sunshine, the lovable one hits her face. She smiles, appreciating every moment of it.

She finds the perfect spot. Perfect enough to put her rejoice in words. Rejoice is an abstract one. At least she doesn’t have any power to condense it. Also, perfect enough to cherish the beauty around. She’s enjoying every bit of this inexplicable freedom. No obligations to fulfill. No forcing of expression. Her being alone gives her the ultimate power.

Now is the time of her expression. Today is the day that she gets to let out everything suppressed within her soul. This moment is the very moment where she gets to answer. Writing is powerful to the ones like her. For, she fails everything else, but attains a little success in that one.

Her hands feel numb. The cold gets stronger. However, she doesn’t stop. She has to attain the completeness that only expression through writing grants her. She resists it, for she’s much stronger than that. She urges you to feel with her. Time doesn’t come again. It goes, once and for all.
She looks around. The greenness around her. It’s beautiful. It’s distracting. The rustling of trees. She admires it.

She looks away and resumes to her search of completeness. One lesson she’s learnt in the 18 years of her life, never let anyone say even one harsh word to you. Even if you are victimized, try not to get affected. For life is beyond that. Gone is the time where you let yourself get demoralized. You’re not born to please anyone. Don’t let the twinge of fear overwhelm you. If you do, you will fall, and getting up to your feet will be a little harder.

She believes in and adheres to one major rule of life. ‘Love yourself. Treat yourself well’. Then only, the search of completeness and attaining of perfection will end well.
