Making Pakistan great again!

Nope… We wouldn’t be needing any sort of Donald Trump for that, neither we have an extensive history of greatness but things are indeed changing. Yes we’re the only Muslim country that is a Nuclear Power. Well, we’re also the country whose security has been breached by US secret troops one night and wait-for-it it’s gonna get even awkward and what makes it so awkward is that world’s most wanted terrorist was killed in that operation according to The USA. Awkward for a country with one of world’s finest intelligence agencies. Pretty awkward, indeed.

It has always been the calm before the storm but I think it’s different in Pakistan’s case. It has been one hell of a storm to make sure that we get the calm we deserve. Pakistan is finally reviving! Though our country is currently at war and fighting terrorism with the aim to eliminate them completely. Though I might even thank General Raheel Shareef for few things. But, don’t worry it won’t be the typical #ThankYouRaheelShareef. I’ll thank that man for something that hasn’t been appreciated enough. I want to thank Pakistan’s Chief of Army Stuff for not intervening in the politics of the country. I want to thank him for not taking power in a country where it has been happening repeatedly in her history. It would’ve had just been a deja vu for Pakistan. Martial law in this country has never been condemned when they occur. However, the story is different when they overstayed their welcome. I want to thank him for firmly standing along with the democratic government and fulfilling the responsibilities of a Chief the best way possible.

Remember the glorious era when our news channels used to show happiness and spread awareness and nothing heart wrenching? Well, me neither. I agree, the purpose of news is to tell exactly what’s going on around but unfortunately that wasn’t happening either. We were just ranting over the problems that doesn’t matter and neglecting the real issues. It’s not just our General who deserves all the appreciations though. It’s the Pakistani nation too. The change is so visible that now our media has actually started mentioning the real dreadful issues Pakistan is facing internally which were always neglected. Kasur Child Abuse issue is one of the major example. The cruel some act has been happening since decades but the public of Pakistan never knew about it but it has been finally taken on air and firm action has been taken against it. The hygienic conditions of restaurants and food quality has been highlighted nationwide recently which is another big example of how we are finally ranting about our issues the actually matter each one of us. The issues that actually makes sense to a mediocre mind. The importance of social media has risen and the common people are now getting heard. Karachi is at peace after decades of instability.

Forbes has appreciated Pakistan’s Economy and has written that Pakistan has the potential to be a global turnout story. Recently Pakistan Army won the gold medal in Exercise Cambrian Patrol in UK. Pakistan’s film industry has revived and aiming for better and the biggest success of it is that an art film like Manto has been a major hit in a country like Pakistan which is famous for intolerance and terrorism. Such art films aren’t even successful much in the US or UK probably France. It was a milestone achieved. The Pak-China Corridor will boost Pakistan’s trade to a next level. Baluchistan is finally at the main front and finalizing their deal and handing over a land of Gwadar to China to start what had to be started way before.

We must all stand together and stand firm for the betterment of our country because the symptoms are now obvious. We are getting better and it’s time to be great and proud of the land we call ours!
